Two new truffle finds in England

Excitingly, this past month has seen two new truffle finds in England (UK).

The first find was of summer truffles in southern England and was recorded by our truffle-dog-training-school. The

soil surface. The site will now be monitore

The second find was of a rarer white
truffle-like species, known as Choiromyces
spp.
These specimens were recor

an
d a good number of fruiting bodies were found growing with a hazel (Corylus avellana) in central England. The site is now being monitored and samples assessed for future study.
