American Truffle continues to expand

Throughout the United States and Canada, the American Truffle Company (ATC- our operation in North America) has been planting orchards in partnership. Thousands of oak and filbert seedlings have just been planted in our newest orchard in North Carolina, complete with a fantastic professionally-installed irrigation system. The scientific methodology, close care and diligence that went into growing and planting the seedlings is paying off – all are doing very well in their new environment. Another substantial orchard in Ontario, Canada, has received the seedlings and will be planting in the next two weeks. All orchards have been, and will continue to be, established with thorough guidance and extremely close attention to detail by Robert Chang, the head of ATC. The economy has actually fueled interest in truffle cultivation with ATC, as more and more folks recognize the solid financial returns of science-based truffle cultivation as opposed to the dismal returns in the stock and bond markets. To find out how ATC can help you get started with your own truffle orchard and tap into this growing movement, please contact Robert directly at robert@americantruffle.com

The prime tree planting time November – March is upon us. Traditionally, November to March are good months to plant, as the trees are dormant and planting in the winter allows the truffley-roots plenty of time to settle in before mycorrhiza and root-growth starts again in spring.
